Ext4 in Fedora 11

Submitted by Webmaster on Friday May 01, 2009

Fedora 9 originally included experimental support for Ext4, if the "ext4dev" anaconda installation-time option was given; in Fedora 10 as well, with the "ext4" option. After extensive feedback, testing, and a number of new Ext4 changes developed in coordination with the lead Red Hat filesystem developer, Eric Sandeen (who hacks on Ext4 as well as XFS), Ext4 is now enabled as the default filesystem in Fedora 11.

Submitted by Webmaster on Thursday April 30, 2009

JBoss AS users have always asked why JBoss does not have an admin console. Personally, i have always liked working directly on the configuration files without needing any web application or any other tool for doing the same.

An Introduction to JBoss Cloud

Submitted by Webmaster on Thursday April 30, 2009

Running services continuously, without downtime is a very important task for administrators. Having to deal with a large number of nodes in a cluster and setting up and configuring new nodes aren't always easy tasks for system maintainers when the computing power that's delivered isn't sufficient.

From last few days I am trying to set up Asterisk + SS7 with Sangoma A102 card on my Ubuntu 8.04 machine. This being my first time with Asterisk I was bit skeptical of things and was wondering if it will be smooth? Well, it wasn't really out-of-box, but it wasn't tough either.
