Surveillance: New Online Get A Mac Ad

Submitted by Webmaster on Wednesday November 18, 2009

Today, on CNN.com I noticed a new online Get A Mac ad that I’ve lovingly named “Surveillance.”
Apple has done these sort of multi-banner ads on large news sites like CNN and NY Times before where the two ads cleverly interact with one another.
In this ad, Mac and PC are talking about Windows 7 and above

Adobe AIR App Adds Google Tasks to Your Desktop

Submitted by Webmaster on Wednesday November 18, 2009

While you could use many of Google’s services in the browser, some folks prefer actual client software. I’ve been using a Google Voice client created in Adobe AIR and today I started to use Google Tasks in a similar fashion. This too runs on Adobe’s AIR, so it’s cross-functional for use on various operating systems.

Microsoft Admits, Then Denies, Copying Mac OS X

Submitted by Webmaster on Friday November 13, 2009

It boggles the mind, it really does. Microsoft tries so hard but for each step forward, it seems to take three steps back. Windows 7, Redmond's answer to the train-wreck that was Vista, has been out for just a matter of weeks and has managed to garner mostly positive reviews. But Microsoft can't help itself. It

I’m very happy in my choice of Twitter clients at the moment. Tweetie is my weapon of choice for the Mac desktop, and it has served faithfully since its release.
